This study was to review the literatures of family adaptation by years and to analyze the trends of researches for the family who has the handicapped.
The purpose of this study was to explore the followings
What does the perception of family needs bring on a change related to the handicapped.
What are the factors of the family of needs and their stresses.
The writer could reach the following results through proceding researches.
First, the perception and family characteristics were known to be different. But, there was not so much to specify the family needs and perceptions of family characteristics.
Second, it is important for the perception of family needs and family stresses to find out a negative change of family related to the handicapped. Also, it is important to review the positive attributes of family function like the perception of family characteristics.
Third, family needs and stresses are determined to the handicapped child(handicapped type), family resourse(family characteristics), the parents perception(locus of control) it is important to know of parents perception to family characteristics, parents locus of control and family needs.
